Model Sasha Marini [Commencequest/NY] stars in this outstanding editorial-project entitled “Edge Of The Abyss”, photographed in Milan by the very talented Monica Monimix Antonelli.
The set concept draws its inspiration from a Mathieu Kassovitz’s film “The hate” and it is an editorial remake of the following cult sentence of it: “This is the story of a society that falls down and while it is falling it repeat to itself to hearten: thus far it’s all right, thus far it’s all right, thus far it’s all right”.
The landing, not the fall, is the importance.
It is the story of an angry, frustrated man who fights against himself and the world around him and who sees his anger becoming resignation up to get the utter desperation and surrender.
It is also a metaphor of the present society, that fought, believed in what it did but now realizes that it has no more strenght and gives itself in to a slow and dramatic surrender.
